Paddy Devlin had worked successfully in direct sales and Sales Management roles for over 15 years’ prior to setting up Devlin Associates in 1999.
His career experience started in the printing industry, before career progression brought him to work in the drinks industry with Guinness, the tobacco industry with the P.J Carroll, before becoming the Sales & Marketing Manager at Provita Eurotech Ltd, manufacturers of natural animal health products with and then, Sales & Marketing Manager at Genesis Crafty; N. Ireland’s largest craft bakery.
In these career roles he gained a wealth of business growth and development expertise as well as practical experience of the day-to-day issues facing companies seeking to create profitable and sustainable sales. Typical responsibilities included the restructuring of sales organisations, acting as key account manager with national retail chains, managing the sales force, export development, monitoring competitors, market research exercises and strategy development for the medium / long term.
Paddy was also heavily involved in new product development initiatives, managing re-branding exercises and all promotional activities from advertising, direct marketing to web development.
As a consequence of his career experience, Paddy set up Devlin Associates to offer a range of practical results based consultancy services to businesses seeking to build sales in the UK and Ireland.
Since 1999 Paddy has worked with over 550 businesses, from multi-million pound turnover companies to indigenous SME’s trading who are trading across the UK / Ireland or exporting into parts of the European Union for the first time.
